This is the port blister, looking forward. Fold-up seats for observers are against the bulkhead, next to the bins where the 0.50-caliber ammunition boxes are stowed. The blisters were rolled open when firing the machine guns, when loading and unloading the plane, or when it was just plain hot. Note the machine-gun mount in the forground.
